Mik McEwen, MPH
Director of Programming

Ms. McEwen has worked in the field of education for 14 years and serves as Vice President of the Connecticut Homeschool Network. Ms. McEwen is a renowned public speaker and has spent the past decade planning, coordinating and facilitating conferences for families. Ms. McEwen has completed her Masters Degree in Public Health and has studied in Guatemala as part of her education. Ms. McEwen is mother to two children who are “life schooled” and brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to our program. Ms. McEwen brings wit and creativity to any subject she tackles.

Alumni Cruises
Mr. Sobbell has been in the cruise travel field for over 15 years. He has cruised on all of Royal Caribbean’s Voyager Class ships (including the “Explorer of the Seas”), some more than once, and considers these ships his second home. Mr. Sobbell strives to personally attend every Alumni Cruise to ensure the cruise experience meets every passengers expectations, as he will on this
inaugural Homeschool Cruise.
