Sabrina Carpenter
Survivor Cruise Group Leader
Sabrina Carpenter was
diagnosed with cancer at age 19. After a 6 year battle, she
was deemed cancer-free in June of 2005 and has been in
remission ever since.
Sabrina has been a volunteer with the American Cancer Society
for 10 years enveloping many roles in the cancer community. She
has been a Team Captain, Committee Member, Event Chairperson,
and been on the Board of Directors. Sabrina has also donated to
the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society,
and St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
Sabrina focuses her efforts on fundraising and motivational
speaking. She has spoken at numerous charity events, schools,
churches, radio stations and businesses to encourage, empower,
and uplift those affected by cancer.
Sabrina believes in “thinking outside of the box” and has
implemented various creative ways to raise money and inspire
others. She feels she was blessed with a second chance at life
and lives each day accordingly.
Sabrina met her husband, Curtis, while they were both
