Staffed checkpoints: To keep teams together; and add extra team building tasks that teams have to collaborate and work together to solve. Hunt Leader: One staff member from Scavenger Hunt Anywhere will accompany you to provide Hunt coordination, a pre-hunt briefing to build excitement, professionally printed handbooks and a results presentation. Photos Option: Participants use their own digital cameras to take pictures to prove that they have been to various locations on the ship. This is a great takeaway for participants and helps create great memories of their amazing scavenger hunt on their cruise!
Variation: Scavenger Hunt Olympiad Ideal for a cruise ship setting. Instead of a full-length scavenger hunt, teams stop at several stations that are set up throughout the ship that act as checkpoints. At these checkpoints, teams participate in interactive team building games, and receive points for their results accordingly. These team building activities help teams practice and improve team skills including communication, collaboration, leadership, creativity, problem-solving, decision-making, strategic planning, conflict management and more. Debriefing Session Is your group looking for a team development experience? Perhaps you want your group to exercise and develop skills related to leadership, effective communication, group problem-solving, prioritization or creative idea generation. If so, you should add a debriefing to your hunt. In a debriefing session, an experienced facilitator will guide your group through a discussion about the skills that were required in the scavenger hunt and what can be learned from the experience. We help the group understand how certain actions or behaviors could have made them more effective scavengers. We then help make connections to the daily work environment so the group will understand what it will take to work more effectively together upon their return to the office.
