We
welcome amputees, their families, friends and supporters to join
us for a unique gathering and vacation experience! Come
meet amputees of all ages and at the same time help fund
non-profit amputee support organizations.
Our Story
Your hosts are Ken and Mik McEwen. Mik is employed by Alumni
Cruises and her husband Ken is a bilateral below the knee amputee and has volunteered
his time to support amputees. After hearing the many stories about the large amount
of military personnel
returning from war and other conflicts who have lost
limbs (many in roadside bombings) they have created this charity
event to help raise money for amputee service groups as well
as provide a fun and exciting vacation for amputees, amputee golfers
and their friends and family to enjoy.
Our Charities
-
Donations will be made to each of our charities
from funds raised through the Amputee Golf Tournament,
sponsorship, and other fund raising efforts.
- A portion of the proceeds from each Cruise Fare, and the Golf
Tournament Entry Fees, will be donated to the Amputee
Organization of your choice. You can designate which
organization the proceeds will be donated to, by selecting them
when you book your cruise. See our
Booking/Pricing page for more
information.
